Cloudflare is breaking out just as investors are beginning to reprice the company as more than a cybersecurity platform. After consolidating for several months near all-time highs, NET has now pushing higher with renewed institutional demand. The technical setup suggests the market is starting to treat Cloudflare as one of the speculative growth winners in the next phase of AI infrastructure. Despite a sky-high valuation, Cloudflare looks increasingly compelling. They continue to grow top and bottom line at an incredible pace that outperforms their peers. Management also guided full-year revenue to roughly $2.8 billion, reinforcing that growth remains strong despite the stock’s premium valuation. At the same time, Cloudflare is aggressively repositioning itself around agentic AI. Management announced a workforce reduction of approximately 1,100 employees as part of a redesign toward an “agentic operating model.” ​This does add execution risk, but it also show how aggressively Cloudflare is trying to turn AI from a product narrative into an operating model and margin-expansion story. Trade timing & outlook NET recently broke above the $250 resistance level after consolidating near all-time highs. Breakout confirmation: The stock has cleared the $250 level and is now pressing toward the upper end of its recent range, signaling renewed momentum. Support reclaimed: The $260 area now becomes the key level to watch, with the short put spread structured around that support zone. Upside potential: If momentum continues, NET could retest the prior high near $277 and potentially move into a larger breakout phase. Fundamentals Cloudflare remains expensive, but the growth profile is materially stronger than the broader software group. Operating leverage is starting to matter: Cloudflare is still GAAP unprofitable, but non-GAAP operating income and free cash flow are improving.
