Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching as the Dow Industrials lost more than 300 points, and what’s on the radar for the next session. Big earnings live on ‘Squawk Box’ 3M is up 5% in three months. Shares are down 10% from the February high. General Motors is down nearly 6% in three months. The stock is down 13.5% from the high reached on Feb. 4. Charles Schwab is up 10% in three months. The stock is off 4.6% from the Feb. 10 high. Northrop Grumman is down 20% in three months. Shares are off 32% from the early March high. DR Horton is down 5.6% in three months. Shares are down 21.5% from the September high. Hasbro is down 14% in three months. The stock is 24% from the February high. HAS 3M mountain Hasbro in the past three months Cramer’s plan to focus beyond tech The “Mad Money” man made the case investors can’t just rely on big tech. Jim Cramer wasn’t necessarily saying sell. He’s still behind the big profitable players like Apple , Nvidia , AMD and more. Cramer may have had the quote of the day when he said, “Did anyone switch to Samsung during this travesty of an AI issue…. Did anyone say, ‘I’m sick of the 17 Pro Max… Get me a Lenovo.'” The point is, these aren’t stocks he’s giving up on. But he also said there are other places to be including Goldman Sachs , Honeywell Aerospace , Boeing , Wells Fargo , FedEx and FedEx Freight . He’s saying now is the time to buy more companies like the non-tech list above, as they’re not so vulnerable to news headlines and tech threats from China. Goldman Sachs is down 8.6% from last week’s high. Shares are up 4.3% in July. Cramer bought Goldman Sachs for his charitable trust on March 19. It is up 31% since then. Wells Fargo is down 11.6% from the Jan. 5 high. Shares are up 4.5% in July. Boeing is off 17% from the January high. Honeywell Aerospace is off 32% from the mid-June high. FedEx is down 11.3% from the June 15 high, but up 32% in 2026. FedEx Freight is down 25% from the price where it started trading on June 1. Meta Platforms and Apple They’re both having a big July. Meta is up 14.7% so far this month. Apple is up 12.9% so far this month, even after losing 2% on Monday. Meta is still off 19% from the August 2025 high. Apple hit a new high Friday. The stock is down 2.5% from the high point. AAPL 1M mountain Apple shares in the past month New tariffs targeting Canada President Donald Trump said he wants to slap a 50% tariff on many Canadian goods. The list is long but would include cement and hockey sticks. A lot of those items, as well as hockey pads, are now made in China, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries. The levies would also apply to wine. The president said it’s payback for alleged Canadian discrimination against certain products that are made in the U.S. The iShares MSCI Canada ETF (EWC) hit an all-time high last week. The ETF is up about 26% in a year. Momentum The iShares MSCI USA Momentum Factor ETF (MTUM) is down almost 12% so far in July. Top holdings are Micron Technology , AMD , Broadcom , Intel and Caterpillar . It hit a high back on June 22, but is now down 12.5% since.
